What is Hawktion?
Hawktion is a fun-filled evening held every year on the last Saturday of April. It is an event that has raised over 4 million dollars in its 25 year history. Each year more than 250 volunteers work enthusiastically to make the Hawktion a success. Over 800 people attended last year’s event.

When and where is Hawktion?
Hawktion will be held on Saturday, April 26th at the Kelly Fieldhouse on the Prep’s campus. This year we celebrate our 26th Hawktion with an evening set to satisfy you Olympian appetite. Tickets to the event are $100 a person. The evening will include a gourmet dinner, entertainment, live and silent auctions and a car share raffle.

Where do the Hawktion items come from?
Local merchants and businesses, benefactors and friends of the Prep, Alumni and parents of students donate items for the Hawktion.

How does one get invited?
You will receive an invitation in the mail in March. Invitations are sent to current parent(s) of a student or recent graduate, attendees of the Hawktion within the last few years and underwriters and sponsors of the event. If you know of someone who would like to receive an invitation and might not fall under one of the above categories, just let us know and we will be sure to add their name to our list.

How do donors benefit?
Hawktion is designated by the IRS as a 501.C3 charity. This means that as a non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible. Donors are listed in our Hawktion program distributed to all attendees and to all donors who request one.

Volunteer! You are always welcome-there are plenty of areas we need help. Either take a look at our Volunteer Opportunities or give us a call and we will find the perfect job for you!
